- Mix Together:
- 4 c whole wheat flour
- 2 c sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp or more of freshly grated orange peel
- 1 tsp salt
- Cut in:
- 1 stick (1/2 c) butter or margarine
- Combine and add to dry ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 c orange juice
- Fold in:
- 2 c fresh cranberries (one 12 oz bag)
- 1 c golden raisins
- 1 c chopped dates
- 1/2 c chopped dried apricots

| Instructions: | Divide into loaf pans (six
mini loaves or two regular ones). |

butter. This bread is best while fresh from the oven, but it holds up
to toasting for a warm snack any time. |
