| Ingredients: |
- 1/3 c milk
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 c sugar
- 1/3 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 c mashed bananas
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1-1/2 c all-purpose flour

| Instructions: | Combine milk and
vinegar; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and mix well. Add bananas and soured milk; mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients except flour and stir well; add flour and mix until moistened (some lumps are ok). |
| Oven Settings: | Bake about an
hour at 350oF degrees in a greased or lined loaf pan. |
| Serving Suggestions: | This
bread is a great all around Quickbread. It's really
really good fresh from the
oven, or toasted with peanut butter. |
